Introducing Future Hybrid System, a revolutionary hybrid system that offers an affordable and effective way to hybridize EV platforms. Combines engine, transmission, motor and power electronics into an integrated system. Presented at Auto Shanghai 2025 as the Future Hybrid Concept.

A HORSE X-RANGE POWERTRAIN SYSTEM

 

Horse C15 is an ultra compact single unit that combines engine and generator, transforming BEVs into range-extended EVs, allowing OEMs to easily and efficiently widen their product line-ups to meet market demands. The ideal transitional technology for markets and consumers not yet ready for full electrification

 

Key features

 

  • Briefcase-shaped system combines a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine with generator,
    exhaust, and cooling unit, that can be packaged horizontally or vertically

  • Allows for simple integration with existing EDUs and designed to fit into the front
    compartment of BEV platforms or in the rear

  • Measures 500 x 550 x 275 mm

 

  • Designed for Euro 7 compliance, China 7, SULEV20

 

  • Can be fitted into passenger vehicles as small as B-segment, through to LCVs

Our M20 Hydrogen engine is an affordable, fast-filling mobility option with virtually zero tailpipe emissions. In development together with Aramco.
