Innovation on display

At this year’s Busworld showcase, three new Range Extender systems take center stage, designed to unlock extended range, greater efficiency, and lower emissions for next-generation vehicles.

 

  • Horse H10 REX, a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine delivers 70kW of continuous electric power. Compatible with up to 800v architectures, it enables ultra-fast charging. Fitted inside a Marcopolo Volare Attack 9 Hybrid microbus with a 450km range, it demonstrates how energy generation keeps vehicles in their peak operating window longer.

  • Horse M20 REX, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine generates 105kW of continuous electrical power, making it the ideal solution for larger commercial vehicles.

  • Horse K15 REX, a 5-liter 4-cylinder system integrates a generator to deliver 65kW of continuous power with a peak output of 80kW.
